Bobtail Squid

This drawing was created as a commissioned piece for a Marine Biologist who studied Bobtail Squids for his work. He wanted the drawing to be anatomically correct and we conferred constantly to get it all accurate. This little fella will only grow to 1 to 8cm in length and can be found in deep coastal waters mainly in the Indian, Atlantic and Arctic Oceans. They use the glow of bioluminescent bacteria as a camouflage against predators by hiding their silhouette from predators below.

Sizes A4 (29.7 x 21cm), A3 (42 x 29.7cm) or A2 (59.4 x 42cm) all on acid free paper and torn edge.
